What is Web Hosting?
Web Hosting is service for Providing Storage Space on the Web. A web host, or web hosting service provider, is a business that provides the technologies and services needed for the website or webpage to be viewed in the Internet. Websites are hosted, or stored, on special computers called servers. When Internet users want to view your website, all they need to do is type your website address or domain into their browser. Their computer will then connect to your server and your webpages will be delivered to them through the browser.
Locally all the files are stored in the Hard Disk & these files can be assessed by the User but on the Web or Internet all the files of Website are stored in the allocated space in the Webserver. When We type the Address of Website on the Browser & request any page, browser looks for Index File of the Website from the Server & download to the user. Anybody can request the Page or Website or domain typing in the Browser.
For Example if anyone type the Domain or Web Page Address https://cloud2host.in/ in any Browser, browser will search for Index File associated with the Domain in the webserver which by default will be Home Page -Index.html or Index.php. & same will be delivered. So in this way will be able to visit the Home Page of cloud2host.in.
